Our House League is a fun, recreational league for kids ages 8 to 14.  It is designed to introduce young athletes to the exciting sport of water polo.  Beginners are absolutely welcome!  Some swimming ability is required.  Experienced players will further develop their skills and knowledge of the game to reach their potential. Click here to register.

We have 3 different program levels:  Developmental, Juniors, and Seniors. The emphasis is on developing skills, gaining knowledge about the rules of the game, good sportsmanship and having fun.

There are no hard cutoff ages for any of these levels, as we place athletes according to ability and experience.  The majority of kids break down as follows:  10 and under are Developmental; 11 and 12 year olds are typically Juniors and 13 and 14 year olds are Seniors.

Our Approach:  After evaluations, all players are placed on teams consistent with their ability.

Developmental Players are the youngest players and typically those who have not played water polo before.  Junior Players are typically players who are not new to water polo but are not playing at our most advanced level.  Senior players are our most advanced players.

Our year-round Greenwich Water Polo Coach, Paul Ramaley, works with our Senior Coaches, Terry Lowe and Bill Harris, to oversee our House League programs. We expect that this professional instruction will enhance the experience of our players.

We believe in in-water coaching instruction to demonstrate skills and assist players to develop their skills.  Our experienced coaches, working with high school players as assistant coaches, assure all players get personalized attention and equal playing time.

Parents are strongly urged to volunteer to assist in team coordination and communication.  No prior experience with water polo is required.
